Seasonal upkeep
Test for radon
Put a short-term radon test kit in the lowest lived-in level for 2 to 4 days, then mail it to the lab. Fix the home if it reads 4 pCi/L or higher, and consider it from 2. Test again every 2 years and after big renovations. If you have a radon system, check its gauge shows a difference in the liquid levels.
