Terms of use
The plain-language deal for using DwellTended.
What DwellTended is
DwellTended helps you keep track of your home: what needs fixing, what it might cost, and when routine upkeep is due. It is general information to help you plan. It is not a home inspection, and it is not advice from a licensed inspector, electrician, plumber, roofer or other professional.
Check before you act
Fix plans and appliance details are written with the help of AI, and AI can misread a report or a photo. Cost ranges are rough national estimates; real prices depend on where you live and what a contractor finds. For anything marked as a safety item, and for gas, electrical, structural or roofing work, have a qualified professional look before you decide. Only do work yourself that you can do safely, and follow local codes and permit rules.
Your account and what you upload
Keep access to your email secure, since sign-in links go there. Only upload reports and photos you have the right to share. You own what you upload; you let us store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.
Payments
Report analysis is paid for once per report, at the price shown before you pay. DwellTended Plus is a yearly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do any time from the Plans page. Our refund policy explains how to get your money back.
Our responsibility
We work hard to make DwellTended accurate and available, but we provide it as is. We aren't responsible for repair decisions, damage, or costs that come from relying on it. If we are ever found responsible for something, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. Questions: support@dwelltended.com.
